Cisco Systems | Software Engineers | ONSITE/REMOTE | US | Full Time

At Emerging Technologies and Incubation organisation (ET&I), we strive to identify the next wave of breakthrough emerging solutions that build new markets and businesses for Cisco. We are focussed on opportunities which are near term (i.e. 3-5 years) and some of the projects are specifically in the cloud native area, which you'll be a part of initially.

We're looking to hire experienced SW engineers to help develop these new solutions. Experience in at least one of the following areas is beneficial:

• Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, L7 networking, public cloud networking

• Cloud native networking, Service Meshes, App networking, Identity and L7 security frameworks

Bonus points if you're an avid Open Source fan and have experience with Golang :)

In every thread: people finding reasons to simply bash Indians and looking down on them.

Just because of your interactions with few Indians and had a bad experience from those working in mega service companies like Infosys, Wipro doesn't mean everyone's a worthless engineer

Comparing US salaries to Indian salaries or anywhere else for that matter is like comparing apples to oranges. $50k equates to 35 lakh rupee per annum which is considered a great salary in Indian standards.

I know of many good developers in India who earn less than this figure but are generally very content in their life. Stop trying to look at everything through the lens of silicon valley.

I agree with the consensus in the article. I work for a team which is spread out all over the world and i'm one of the two people working from India. I feel isolated and lonely. My other team-mate from India works from home most of the time is planning on quitting soon so it makes it even worse.

The work is great but just feel like having someone to talk about your problems and getting quick help is no where near pinging them on IM tools and asking if they are free or whatever. I envy most of my co-workers here who always have someone to walk the hallway, have lunch together etc.

Pretty awesome idea. I'm willing to contribute.

Seems like Uber cannot catch a break!

Can someone point to the visualization libraries being used in the attendance website?

Seems to me like this http://www.almsaeedstudio.com/preview - a free template.
