> Except on Linux you have to remember which of the several different package managers each specific system uses. Do I use apt, apt-get, pacman, yum, dnf, flatpacks, build from source?

How often are you switching systems that you can't remember the package manager?

You could just alias your package manager to something more memorable if it's really a problem, but I feel like this argument only really applies to servers where you may be logging into a variety of different distributions every day.

Almost like most degrees may not be very useful (or worth the cost) to get in the first place.

The Chameleon Ultra is way overkill for a use-case like this, there are way cheaper readers that pretend to be HID devices all over the market

It's $20, and open source. Use-cases change, and it's very nice to have the flexibility and control to adapt.

Why would they ever do that though? Breaking backwards compatibility and losing all their work on the NT kernel for no gain?

Is there a tool for jailbroken Kindles to prevent this bricking from happening?

Yes you can prevent OTA updates.

I've been using Trail Sense [0] for sensor-related information after learning about it from a friend.

The interface is more polished, but the information is less technical than Phyphox (as the app is geared towards being a survival toolkit).

I don't know, I've noticed this in the right as well. I think there's always some degree of purity-testing to any community, though I agree there is more on the current (radical?) progressive end than average.

I'm trying to figure out who you're talking about but no one makes sense.

Fuentes? Definitely not on Apple.

Rogan? Not a holocaust denier, has fairly progressive views outside of his Trump endorsement.

Adin Ross? Does he even have a podcast? And would anyone care what he thinks?

"Really smart" and "elon" are not two words I'd put together in the same sentence.

Reminder this is the same man that paid someone else to play on his video game account for him so he could pretend to be better at video games.

I don't actually believe this, but am picking an argument that I expect deadeye an Elon apologist to believe. If you don't think he's smart I don't need to convince you?

I'd rather turn into neither, but that's just me
