It's quite literally terrorism. Telling people "we can blow people up anywhere in the world" is intended to make people afraid. It's deliberately creating a climate of fear. That's what terrorism is.
Agree. I also find this photo to be very profound. Generations of people lived and died and we will never see their faces. After this it’s like a great veil was lifted on the human story.
I wonder in our digital age how long our images will endure. Will the vast quantities of images we have now have disappeared entirely 200 years from now and the photographic period be the only enduring image record? It’s interesting to think about.
> they simply document something that happened, and what happened is genuinely quite concerning
Is it, though? If one weird thing happening once is the threhold for when we should be concerned, we should be concerned about literally every model ever released.
You're just not paying attention. If you run copilot in copilot using copilot effort, it performs much better than copilot in copilot using copilot effort. This is clearly explained if you visit copilot.com using copilot and then search for copilot.
All the spam this generates probably sucks for 404 Media, but the underlying problem is that ChatGPT is right. If you have any kind of problem with these overgrown, understaffed companies, your only chance is to get media attention.
Apple famously put "if you run to the press and trash us, it never helps" into their App Store Guidelines for developers, but the only reason they did have to do that is because it's a lie. Running to the press is the only thing that helps, which is why people do it.
What happened to that kind of posts? I haven't seen them in a while. Last one maybe two years ago looking for Stripe support. Are they now automatically deleted or something?
I can't believe the actual answer is so far down the thread. All praise to our overlord DeepSeek for ironically helping American labs make cached tokens much cheaper.
