And that was when the "French always surrender" meme started to pop up on the Internet. US propaganda at the time

This and a Z80 assembler book to speed up a bit code because the basic was really too slow to do anything (had the 16k memory extention too because 800 and something octet were not enough)

UN hq is in New York for exemple.

For now.

Trump has only been in power for a year.

> Claims that multiple UN member states are discussing moving the HQ away from New York and to Montreal.

NY ain't MAGA either

IMHO you can and should.

AI is a great assistant. Letting go the more experienced dev is a bad move.

We work in a field where you should understand what it is you're doing.

We had a wave of "dev" who where told that assembling libraries and API as Lego is the way. It's only a sub part.

Now with the AI fuzz, people think it's kind of magic and do everything by its own. It's not.

You can gain a lot of time with AI if you know how to prompt and are capable to understand what it spits out.

But beting the future of your business on less experimented junior for saving a couple thousand dollars is not a clever move.

(Again, my opinion)

Agreed.

So it should be an independant app and not be part of a gaming system that have nothing to do installed by default on a pro computer.

When I needed this functionality and find out it was on the game bar I too was a bit shocked finding out it was installed !

At first I thought you were a bit contemptuous. After all, we don't know what OP is really doing on the net.

But after reading a lot of the other comments, I think you're on to something. A lot of people mistake social media with the Internet (not saying OP or any one here is), showing that they (SM) somehow won (for now) and it's sad.

It's the nineties back again, when most ISP logged you in their application (looking at you AOL) or on their website. People open their phone and go directly on Instagram, Fb, or whatever, and they're "on the web" they think.

"IPv6 only or at least dual stack"

"the next time HE decides to stop routing ipv6 from europe to new york"

You mean the software that can't open 2 differents files if they have the same name ?

This. For me (senior as in I am in the field since last century), that's how I use it. "I want to do that, with this data, to obtain that"

I still do the part of my job that I got experience on, analyze the need, and use the AI like an assistant to do small libraries or part of code. Like these, errors have less chance to appear. Then I glue that together.

For me the time ratio is best use like that. If I have to describe the whole thing, I'm not far from doing it myself, so there's no need for me.

Important: I work alone, not in a team, so maybe it has an impact on my thought

I stopped reading at "Enable Snap and Flatpak"
