Maybe you lucked out and didn’t get the update before they killed it.

I hope they do a gradual rollout and they don’t push updates to the entire fleet at once (that would be irresponsible), but from the amount of people experiencing issues since Friday…

I’ve been thinking of buying/leasing a 4xe Wrangler since I rented one back in September for a couple of weeks and enjoyed it. However, stuff like this makes me concerned since I already know Jeep/stellantis have sub-par reliability compared to other car manufacturers.

A OTA update that makes the car undrivable is one thing. A bug that causes the power train shut off at highway speeds is unacceptable. Seems like multiple failures caused something like this to happen. Not only did they not QA an update properly, but the mere fact that a Infotainment/Telematics firmware update could kill the motor/engine while driving is crazy. In addition, the fact that they roll out an update like this on a Friday before a holiday weekend is also absurd.

There should be some sort of health check across all the car systems/ECUs before allowing the car to drive.

Stuff like this makes me more likely to look at Rivian instead (although they’ve had reliability issues too).

It's a real possibility you suffer from MDD. Do you struggle to get up in the morning? Oversleep? Depression and anxiety often manifests themselves differently in people but can lead to lower motivation, and can cause attention difficulties.

I suggest finding a Psychologist and trying some therapy (CBT/DBT). If your already on anxiety medications, I'd be careful taking those. You should only take them when your anxiety is at the very highest in low doses. Benzos are often over-prescribed and can be abused and can lead to physical dependence. A Psychiatrist will try prescribing all sorts of medications if they diagnose you with depression or ADHD, and you should be skeptical. You can also try (with therapy) other more non-invasive treatments like getting good exercise (cardio), sunlight (vitamin-D). There are other things that are more experimental too like TMS, Ketamine, etc.

Sleep and diet hygiene (in addition to exercise) are always important.

After years of treatment-resistant depression and being prescribed all sorts of medications (SSRIs, even a low-dose anti-psychotic at one point), I did a bout round of TMS and it really helped me.

Not sure by your comment where exactly you've located your generator, but as a PSA:

Do not run a propane generator in or near your garage if it's attached to your home, since there's a serious risk of CO poisoning. It should be located as far away from the house as possible and away from windows and doors.

Prefarably at least 20 meters, especially if it is a gas-powered generator (OP mentioned theirs is propane, which is not quite as dangerous as gasoline).

Edit: I hope you have battery powered CO detectors on each floor and near the bedroom.

For those wondering, "Stanning" is a portmanteau of the words "Stalker" and "Fan", meaning overly obessed fandom of some celebrity.

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Stanning

That actually sounds much more logical of an explanation than the link to the Eminem song. I discovered the term back in the Tumblr days of 2013 or so and was surprised to hear it was related to a then 13-year old song.

I just ordered a Kobo Aura H20, on which I intend to install KOReader (Kindle/Kobo Open Reader) for an improved PDF reading experience.

Not necessarily. Liam Neeson was the star of the 1993 film "Schindler's List." It won 7 Academy awards in 1994, including best picture.

I think it was supposed to be a joke...but it didn't work because it wasn't funny.

It was part joke, part reality. :)
