I really enjoyed that post graph of theirs. I've shied away from battling with plain CSS over the years. I think it's a good time to finally lean into this weakness of mine.

Aalto is great. It's more of a west-coast style Buchla complex oscillator clone than a traditional FM synth with multiple operators, but complex oscillators have at least one carrier and one modulator by design.

I use very few software synthesizers but Aalto and Operator are two of my favorites.

I recall this situation well as it interrupted an exam of mine. iirc, it was the MAC address of his machine being known/registered to the Campus network that nailed him.
