I don't use the Facebook mobile app. I only use messenger.

Also, I use the "newsfeed eradicator" chrome addon to remove the newsfeed when I go to facebook on my PC. That way I only see notifications, where I am tagged/invited & I only go see posts from a few groups that interest me.
