Could you recommend a new one to learn for someone who only knows spring boot? I can pick up any language quickly. The main thing I'd be looking for is good resources/blogs to learn the framework quickly from.

I work with Laravel a lot so I recommend it. But you can also do Python/Django which is very good. For laravel, start with https://laracasts.com

I don't get this question. Where do you want to work?

If it's faang then leetcode & grokking the system design interview will work for entry/mid level. Otherwise it seems to vary from startup to startup in terms of how they'll assess you.

Find a good resource with lots of difficult problems to solve. The resource is basically useless if it doesn't come with a well written answer key.

Leetcode is good for learning leetcode. The Art of Problem Solving books are good for pure math. Stuff like that.

That'll get you through the "basics" if you really like math and also go to undergrad/grad school for it. If you want to be "the best" then you'll have to compete with people who actually are geniuses. Idk how to compete with them, maybe read their blogs and try to replicate their practice methods?

Here's a really smart guy's blog: https://terrytao.wordpress.com/

It’s crazy how much of a Wild West payments have gotten lol. Banks exist, but haven’t innovated (possibly due to regulations). Then payment apps, crypto coins, and now an aggregator for payment apps has shown up. I guess the final step in all this will be an app that takes in money from any crypto coin, cash app, or bank, and then sends it to any other person who can receive the coin, cash app, or bank, where the idea is that the aggregating app would only need to be on the sender’s side but not on the receiver’s side.

The subreddit you’re in is what decides whether your opinion will be upvoted. If you go to a video game’s specific subreddit and say “I know you all like Call of Duty, but Call of Duty sucks”, then you will be downvoted into oblivion even if you’re “correct”. Same goes for things like politics and bitcoin. The subreddits all end up attracting people who have a certain opinion and outcasting the rest.

Something like devs @ E7+. Also E5+ MLE’s can still apply. Then I think there’s still enterprise engineering, production engineering, & business engineering. I think PM’s and the like are allowed to apply too.

Not a good time to be a recruiter in a lot of companies though.

The main thing is some companies doing hiring freezes & layoffs. Twitter has started rescinding some offers, Meta implemented a hiring freeze, Coinbase & Robinhood stock are in serious pain, etc. This kind of stuff is making most speculate that tech is about to be in a lot of hurt, especially for less profitable companies.
