If all or most of their submissions and comments are [dead], it is likely that it is done automatically. You need to enable show-dead to be able to see that, by visiting this: https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=bryanrasmussen ... or if you log out and your comments disappear then you are likely shadow banned ...
