It's not because of AI black nazis, but because there is a deeper social problem of censorship and anti-racism (including, but not limited to racism against white people). Erasing white people from history is as racist as not allowing people of colour to sit on the bus. Both are equally unacceptable acts of racism. It's as Orwellian as it gets.
