Interesting, makes a lot of sense to me as far as pricing too. However, I feel the video demonstration could greatly improve in terms of explaining and enthusiasm. It's super cool though and presentations/demos should showcase the full potential!
I feel SF is just difficult to live in for people not making ridiculous tech salaries or have enough wealth to afford it there. You can enjoy life in any city if you make 100k+, and some people that do will still complain about being poor ...
Companies themselves are authoritarian organizations that enact international policies for the purpose of extracting wealth from a local population. Countries that have skin in the game for their own geography are the least of your worries, they are optimizing locally. Meddlers without skin in the game are more problematic.
When did youtube , or any big tech not comply with local laws in authoritarian countries? Never, their position is not one of activism it's "I'm OK with that"
They already do, and Google complies with those laws. See China. It is quite telling that Google seems to put more effort into complying with the CCP than German law, however.
Didn’t you read about the part where Casa’s MultiSig easily protected him from financial ruin though!? I hear it’s better than having all your money at CoinBase.
Plus there was the hard hitting advice that “always have a friend who knows all your plans check in with you, to make sure a crime organization isn’t plotting to steal your money”.
Sadly both platforms are practicing censorship and are being run by people that think they are best suited to distinguish between good and evil. Reality is usually not black and white, which is why it is sad to see many platforms these days pushing strict narratives.
