You might want to check out Amp: https://ampcode.com/

I appreciate the suggestion! But it isn't clear to me, from reading their marketing site, what they bring to the table from this perspective. Can you give me a more targeted pitch?

This page buried in their docs is a bit better than the homepage imo: https://ampcode.com/manual#why-amp

I haven't used them in a while so my info may be out of date, but they tended to track whatever models were the best and auto-use them for each task (eg, one for planning, subagent for a code search, other frontier for implementing). Their CLI seemed very well thought out to make you do things "the correct way" -- for instance, `/handoff` instead of `/clear`.

Thanks!

Sorry for the late answer and the missing context. usef- is right, the manual is probably the better page to share. Amp tries to give you a plug and play experience, where you can always see the actual costs and models/effort are autoselected for you. Some of my colleagues are big fans and use it a lot. I also like it, but prefer OpenCode.

Great. Amp wasn't even on my radar! Appreciate the pointer!

I tried to:

- Make a simple admin CRUD layout

- Add some widgets

- Add a login/logout section in the navbar

- Make it all responsive

The first three steps worked amazingly. But the final step was probably just too difficult and I got some broken-looking site.

Still nice though, good job.

We recently adopted Bruno at our company and I'm very happy with it. Versioning your requests with GIT is great, and the client is really nice as well.

Funny, the weather bit is also true of us Germans. Even our saying is almost the same. "Es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter, nur schlechte Kleidung." And we also have this one: "Wir sind ja nicht aus Zucker." (We're not made of sugar.)

I'd heard "There's no bad weather, only bad clothing" growing up in a USA state with a high number of German, Dutch, and Finnish immigrants. We also played outside unsupervised a lot 30 years ago (but we also played a lot of video games). I don't think the children where I grew up are still playing outside unsupervised -- I believe it's not entirely legal anymore.

May I ask why you think so?

I uninstalled brave as the story about injection affiliate links broke: https://www.theverge.com/2020/6/8/21283769/brave-browser-aff...

Sorry I don't really understand your comment (English isn't my native language).

So there was / is a legitimate data structure which stores these affiliate links and someone accidentally used it as a source for the url auto completion?

I assume the legitimate reason to store affiliate links, are things like the widgets on the "new tab" page?

If that really was an honest mistake I'm sorry for spreading stories like this, without checking them first in more detail.

Brave published a blog post regarding this feature/news; you can read more (as well as see images of the feature in action) at https://brave.com/referral-codes-in-suggested-sites/. I hope this helps!

oh now i get it, thanks :)

I have been using z for many years now, and I cannot recommend it enough. This is one of the most useful tools ever.

Yes, same for us.

I'm having partial luck with cancelling and re-running jobs. In what I've seen with this issue, the job either lands in a functioning queue, in which case it gets picked up essentially immediately, or it lands in a bad one in which case it simply waits.

Some of our workflows don't even show up anymore which is unfortunate...

PHP, Go, and TypeScript. I like them all.

Oh, that was fun; great article! During my MA, I wrote a paper on Swedish Melodic Death Metal lyrics and what common themes they have. I can't seem to find the paper now, but I remember having a blast. I think the result was something like anger, violence, and loyalty/brotherhood.

This so accurate it hurts. And it's also super funny. Good job :)
