The problem isn’t the proofs, it’s proper attribution.

The PDBs are summaries intended for only the President.

Intended only for the President means that only carefully crafted half truths to influence the desired result are present.

Not true. The PDB comes from a lot of sources. They are hand picked but are often left pretty raw. I know this because I used to be a HUMINT collector in DIA. They are hand picked, but usually in the sense of "what briefs well". It ends up being more about yearly performance objectives and how it looks on a quad chart than anything agenda related

You can read the PDBs from 1961 to 1977 on the CIA's site.[1]

Well... were, anyway.

It denies X/Twitter tracking metadata and metrics.

But you're still making specific requests with it from your IP, which will filter into metadata and metrics. It seems like Nitter loses its original value proposition once it's no longer a one-to-many proxy.

Pride always comes before the fall.

Some think Musk bought Twitter/X because of the bots, not in spite of them.

Given recent events and social media manipulation that occurred right before the last US election and the character that has since been revealed, it doesn’t surprise me.

It was a side hustle, but a layoff has made it my new job:

Launched and happy to answer any questions.

I like the idea.

I am building an RSS reader and like the idea of being able to tie articles back to verified individuals who have a crypto address and contact information. Even having encoded images would be interesting. "Oh, that's the guy with the funny duck picture on everything he makes." - But it's actually a steganography identifier.

So building a DNS for people... is just having an email address enough?

So imagine you are a freelance writer and at the bottom of an article you put some unique string or pic that leads people and agents back to a home page that contains a crypto address and contact details.

One application: even here on HN if some article gets over say 100 points, how would it be possible to invite the author into the forum for an AMA type discussion. You'd check the article for some type of identifier string first.

Also, with an RSS reader, an author or feed owner could be invited to claim a direct connection with their readership and end up collecting tips from them.

I'd use the term "Atom Reader," but someone may think I'm talking about a quantum physics laboratory. At least RSS has no similes.

This is actually pretty interesting. I run a yml based factbook of company variables and this will slot right in.

Have you thought about integrating with Wazuh or similar?

ty. I'm pushing opentelemetry metrics which we use for alerting. I had thought about emitting PolicyReports from the operator too

The point of school is to expose you briefly to many things in hopes that one catches your fancy.

This is a message that should be conveyed to kids. It's one that I didn't get. I wore blinders and prejudged that basically all the humanities was a waste of time. The guidance counselor would sign me up for history classes and I literally didn't even show up beyond the first day when I told the teacher that I have better things to do. I regret doing that.

My daughter, fortunately, did not make that mistake and got exposed to a great deal of art and history and literature that I had denied myself. Now I love history and I'm trying to make up for the gap.

Ha! I was very similar. Now I have a few accomplishments under my belt, I can appreciate craftsmanship and art for the sake of art.

Why does the output of 'strings' have things like this in the binary?
