I'm in the same boat, I resolved it with Nutritional Yeast.

I prefer Brewer's Yeast in a particular liquid form ;)

But I actually had to look up nutritional yeast as I hadn't heard of it here (Canada). It actually sounds like a promising supplement to my own diet. It seems like the only catch is that it doesn't produce B12 naturally, and I'll have to be sure to pick up the fortified version (unless they all are?)

No. They don't all have added B12. Add to popcorn.

There is some effect at work here though, individual experiences may differ. If I eat one meal per day after that meal I will feel lazy and quite tired.

So if I finally ate at 6pm, hours later than 6pm I would feel like sleeping.

If I finally eat any later than 6pm I will start getting weak/shaky beyond 6pm.

This isn't a result of lack of acclimation. I've done fasting for 4+ month stretches multiple times in the past 6 years and have even experimented with 24+ hour fasts on a regular basis.

> If I eat one meal per day after that meal I will feel lazy and quite tired.

It takes some days/weeks (dependending on the individual) for your body to switch from carbs-only to carbs & fat burning so when you feel lazy and tired it is because your body is not properly burning fat to supply you with the energy required thus asks for food always that it depletes carbs of easy access.

> If I finally eat any later than 6pm I will start getting weak/shaky beyond 6pm.

Yup! I feel the same. I eat 8-9pm and around 11pm I sleep like a baby. Win-win.

Now this is a point difficult to prove.

I've done keto for many months, so I'm quite used to the switch-over you describe.

I'm developing a monster-taming/breeding game that offers dynamic breeding and the "base" type of breeding interpolates values to create the new child.

Items in-game of course can "nudge" the formula.

Doing this on the block-chain is an interesting idea a few people have suggested to me, but ultimately it didn't mesh with my idea of what the game should be.

many of us prefer great pixel-art to 3D in certain genres (RPGs for example)

I'm a hobbyist developer working on an upcoming large title. For reasons I can't explain programmers make up a huge portion of the demographic.

It's a monster-collecting game, so I really can't figure out what the link is there to programmers.

Thank god I'm only doing this as a hobby because I bet such a connection would be obvious to anyone more entrepreneur-like than I.

I saw it happen during dips (but not spikes!) on Coinbase three times in two months.

I'm not buying that it's a scaling issue personally.

Even though it happened during peak usage it can't be a scaling issue?

I'm being unrelated, but thank you for this comment.

This instantly brought me back to the 2003/2004 Computer Magazine articles with customized TiVo Setups or homebrewed alternatives entirely running on a media center PC.

It was a fun time! I got to find out that if your local cable company responds with "huh?" when you ask for a cable box with an active firewire port (just for reliable channel changing, I was never able to get video) and then call the state utilities commission when they refuse... you get a call from the actual owner of the local Time Warner franchise confused out of his mind! That was fun... he called saying "you were asking about whether our cable boxes were fireproof?" so I got to explain what Firewire was, that they were legally obligated to provide a box with an active port if I requested one under such-and-such FCC regulation, etc. They eventually figured out what checkbox on my account to tick and I got it.

I still have the hacked Tivo with its network card actually, down in the basement. Hasn't been used for probably going on a decade, but I loved that thing to death while it lasted.

I would've never guessed providing a channel-changing interface over firewire would be law! That's very interesting.

Sounds like you might've been the first to ask!

Because we need some voice out there standing for people and work life balance amongst a sea of slogans, media, advertising and group-think advocating sacrificing your life for the businesses' bottom line.

Why would using your left-over time and effort for a side project that may improve your life a bad thing? Does your employer have the right to "own" that effort as well?

If so I think the pay scales need some adjusting.

Not sure why we're not in the habit of naming and shaming these organizations.

Mostly because of non-disparagement clauses in the meager severance package.

This is actually quite eye-opening. Thank you for that.
