“claude fix this tech det”

I have a Frankenstein of a setup with this one. I use ZAI (GLM-4.6) for the base models, then Gemini's free tier for the search and image recognition. CCR intercepts the requests from Claude Code and sends them to each model/provider automatically.

I got annoyed at CCRs bloat and flakiness tho and replicated it in like 50 lines of Python. (Well, I asked Frankenstein to build it for me, obviously... what a time to be alive.)

"A new report from Protocol today details that Apple has gone on a cloud computing hiring spree over the last few months... Michael Crosby, one of a handful of ex-Docker engineers to join Apple this year. Michael is who we can thank for containers as they exist today. He was the powerhouse engineer behind all of it, said a former colleague who asked to remain anonymous."

We can thank the linux kernel developers for implementing namespaces and overlayfs.

And we can thank predecessor systems like BSD jails, Solaris zones, as well as Virtuozzo/openVZ and lxc as previous container systems on linux.

Docker's main improvements over lxc, as I understand it, were adding a layered, immutable image format (vs. repurposing existing VM image formats) and a "free" public image repository.

But the userspace implementation isn't exactly rocket science, which is why we periodically see HN posts of tiny systems that can run docker images.

Same here.. I went all in on NI, Maschine Mk3, Jam, S49 Mk2 and Komplete Ultimate. It feels like the best of both worlds. Step sequencing and arranging on the Jam is so nice.

My story is similar to yours. I've just recently gone from 100% hardware to a more hybrid setup. I found that while I was having more fun with the hardware setup I wasn't finishing songs. Personally, I still need a computer to do editing and arranging. My new setup is a small eurorack skiff, Bitwig 3 and NI Maschine Mk3/Jam/S49 Mk2 w/ Komplete Ultimate. The integration between NI hardware and Maschine/Komplete Kontrol is amazing, feels like the best of both worlds. I'm definitely considering the Push 2 for Bitwig, although the Maschine Jam does a pretty good job as Bitwig controller.

At precisely 90 degrees.

Apparently not! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incline_elevator

It seems the distinction is that funiculars operate in balanced pairs, while elevators are independent units.

I went to Germany this year and I made a point of planning a visit to a funicular. To my great disappointment, the funicular we found in Freiburg am Breisgau used a counterweight instead of another car. Now I wonder if it was really a funicular at all.

Funnily enough that page has a funicular listed under the incline elevator examples

Their FAQ says it can:

Absolutely, Beddit 3 is designed for sleep tracking in a shared bed. However, this requires one sensor per person, per phone. You may track sleep one or two-at-a-time

I've been curious about Springboard's "Data Science Career Track" program. Does anyone have any experience with Springboard they can share?

https://www.springboard.com/workshops/data-science-career-tr...

hey, i'm a community manager for this course. independent contractor, as opposed to working directly for springboard (so try to be pretty unbiased). Happy to help any way i can.

I think the career track grew out of the "Data Science Intensive" course so similar curriculum but much more focus on the job related side and more hands on in terms of helping students going through the process of looking for work in this area.

Anyway - you are probably looking for past students as opposed to someone like me but just reply if any specific questions i can help with.

This is exactly what the Stems music format is all about: http://www.stems-music.com

Stems is only four tracks. That certainly works well for "standardized contemporary music for DJ" but it doesn't sound it is a universal format for all kind of music.
