In Polish, AI is called "Sztuczna Inteligencja" which translates to "Synthetic Intelligence".

In German it's Künstliche Intelligenz, which is another one of those curious English/German correspondences where even parts of words line up--Kunst is "art" and künstlich is "artificial".

Nope, "synthetic" would be "syntetyczna". "Sztuczna" just means "artificial", a direct translation.

In Slovak it's "Umelá inteligencia", same as "umelá hmota" - generic term for any kind of plastic.

I work on a FLOSS data center management framework. 13 years ago, while at the office preparing to configure a new server, I had a flash of insight seeing the entire data center managed by such a tool. I saw it complete in my head. And since then, I'm still working towards that goal, that I'll never really reach.

It's open source so... It does if you want it to. ;-)
