Lettermint offers "broadcast" emails which is essentially marketing

Will they consult any of the under-16s they're targeting? Or just those who "know what's best"

Do we consult toddlers for their opinion about food?

Well, yes? At least, I've never force-fed a toddler.

You feed toddlers long enough, something like this happens.

Please don't gavage children. That's (presumably) more psychologically damaging than social media.

You cant just eat the chips and leave the fish.

No ice cream till you eat some more of your greens.

More "no Facebook until you've done your homework" than "the government is going to ban ice cream and that's a good thing", though.

Should they consult youngsters on cigs as well?

Should we consult kids if they would like to drink, smoke and gamble?

9 out of 10 crack addicts say its very moreish

I much prefer React Aria's components. Yes fuck Adobe but take their RadioGroup for example: https://react-aria.adobe.com/RadioGroup Much better than shadcn's in terms of deps and LOC, and it uses an input. All of their components are built for accessibility first.

Thanks, no love for Adobe but React Aria seems good. Saved, will look in to it.

The two listed collaborators of the debug package have over 700 packages published collectively, many of them with millions of weekly downloads. What could possibly go wrong when their token is compromised?

I just wish Terraform would let me be a grown up and see sensitive values in an output without going through so many hoops.

Writing OpenAPI by hand sucks, this looks fantastic. The only reason I prefer generators from code comments is because the structure and the code itself live in the same place, so it's harder to forget.

I'm very interested in Ente's thoughts on the impact of first class support for self hosting on their revenue

We think the set is disjoint. We aren't hurting our revenue by catering to the tinkerers. They will hopefully help spread the word about Ente, and contribute to making the product better in the long run.

I've used Nomad (https://www.getnomad.app/), they usually have a 10-25% code somewhere. I've had no issues and used them 10s of times.

Zotero got me through university. If their app supports Chromebook this could make them even more useful for new students on a budget.

Although this would be useful. Students currently using Chromebooks can still use it. Install connector(extension) from Chrome app store and choose save to library (online zotero library) instead. It is annoying that you will need to do that with every addition to the library but this will work.

Actual Budget (https://actualbudget.org) - I'm not connected to them but I use their software on a daily basis and it's still well maintained.
