Sucks being a cost center. I've come to realize that a lot of what makes security fun for me still boils down to engineering problems that isn't only found in security teams.

Oh yes! this is marvellous! thank you, I just needed a modern web browser and a fix for the HTTPS issues (all the recent ones become unsupported)! I agree on the security front. If you have hygenic browsing habbits, appart from driveby, and phishing, you might be ok. I suppose a crond Clam routine scan may help. I do like Ubuntu, it works really well on the core duo 32bit iMac. But I shall try Lion with these fixes for a while. :-)
Doesn't anyone learn anything. Youth is not an achievement. Experience is. Having to refer to a book, rather than good change management practices, highlights the madness of agile tosh, and ignorance in terms of capacity and performance management. It's also a data breach incident (denial of service, unavailability), I hope they reported this to the UK ICO, and each countries data protection regulator. Amateurish rubbish.

2: Its the legal definition under the GDPR ( a European law, that applies to the US, via Privacy Shield). If you can't get to your data - you get the idea?
