I've been buying the kids versions because in the past, it was the ad-free version and came with a free case, but the new kids version seems to have ads if not used in kid mode:

"Will my kid see ads while using this device? Kindle Paperwhite Kids is automatically set up for your kid to enjoy an ad-free experience. However, if you exit Amazon Kids using a passcode, sponsored screensavers will be displayed on the device's lockscreen."

I can confirm that the new versions have to be placed in a child mode in order to hide the ads. It seems they have closed this admittedly nice loophole

I've had the exact same thing happen to me on ebay, FYI.

Bought an A7IV for a very good price. Seller sent a bogus tracking number. After it was delivered to not me, I got USPS to confirm it didn't match my address and got a refund from ebay. It was a pain, and I've learned to never buy from sellers without a reasonable history.

It made me very aware to how many times the best price for an item is from an account with no feedback. Ebay doesn't seem to care about these obvious scams.

I've been seeing a lot of weird stuff in bing lately, like: https://imgur.com/a/oF7Y2nX

That's expected behavior from their new Many Worlds Quantum Computing circuitry. It's just pulling results from a parallel timeline.

Getting this error constantly: "We couldn't save the Loop page you've created. It will be lost as soon as you refresh. Copy anything you want to keep and paste it somewhere else. Then, please try creating the page again."

+1 to this. I had a hpwh installed for my radiant system and after paying >7k to get it up and running, I learned that this model is entirely unsuited to that setup and Rheem refuses to accept a return.

If anyone wants a barely used 120 volt hpwh in the bay area, get in touch.

FYI, for anyone else withdrawing funds:

I requested an ACH withdrawal at 5pm pacific on 5.23 It was processed 13 hours later at 645am on 5.24 The conversion rate I received was 0.03850612745 If you view the UST value during that window, it was worth almost twice that rate on average: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/terrausd/

https://etherscan.io/tx/0x6ae021b3bd9848ade6863820092dcf2844...

Just a warning for anyone expecting to get out with even the value of your UST...

So the options are to withdraw to USD at 5% value, or transfer the ust to another wallet to qualify for a "potential airdrop" but probably lose the 5% as ust goes to 0?

True, however at this point it’s not really up to StableGains - they are doing the right thing here (regardless of their initial - potentially false - advertising) of allowing you to withdraw your holdings and then be at the mercy of the market directly.

camo is great. I was doing what the OP outlines at the beginning of the pandemic with an a6000 and a $10 ebay hdmi capture card. It looked 10% better than camo for 100% more effort.
