I bought my wife the hairdryer (with some trepidation over the price). It has improved MY life because it is so much quieter. I hate the shrieking noise of typical hairdryer
The FDA did this to us by outlawing effective but problematic products and replacing them with relatively safe but ineffective products. And then letting product makers off the hook on claims and pricing
Maybe someone already said this but my pet peeve is restrictions on wireless CarPlay. We have a top of the line Kia Telluride that only has wired CarPlay. Then we rented a crappy Kia sedan on vacation and it had wireless. Apparently the developer of Telluride’s fancy built in navigation system prohibits wireless CarPlay
I’d argue even in the former Wordpress is a poor choice.
Yes the ecosystem is big. But Wordpress is annoying and so unbelievably overkill for static sites. This is a cost and maintenance issue: you need a backend, you have to maintain it. Maintaining Wordpress is notoriously difficult and time consuming.
So sure, the “cost” of Wordpress appears low because of the ecosystem. But you’re trading upfront cost for recurring cost. That’s typically a bad trade, IMO.
