Github was usable and fast, now it is slow. Guess what changed...

It's crazy slow. But it's also a closed source, Microsoft platform for Open Source, so it belongs in the trash anyway.

It was re-written in React and performance was annihilated. The React Virus annexed another victim and we have one more zombie web-site.

Yeah, but some project or program manager sure got a raise for delivering this nonsense "update".

That was 100% a project sold to upper management as a benefit and modernization.

Acquisitionbombed by Microsoft! Instead of usability and performance it has AI now!

Last time I played, the servers were empty. Maybe you could have better luck by finding their discord server...

I've realized I am more fond of WinXP rather than Win95.

Dude, please give money to artists instead of using genAI

Nice read, I've been wondeling if coffee really had an effect on mental health too

Amazing project!!

Just I was trying to find a benchmark about this, I wondered which algorithm would work best for videogames. Thanks!

Video games and compute heavy tasks cannot have a large compression factor. The good thing is that you can test your own setup using zramctl.

Zippers are the derivative of lists. You can go beyond lists, too.

Thank you!
