A side project to keep track of themes being released for Omarchy: https://omarchythemes.com/

Been enjoying using Omarchy and this is my way of keeping tabs on what's going on.

Can I install this as qemu/virtualbox/kvm/etc VM or does it only work on bare metal?

They didn't boycott, it was just a pause.

Yep, do this all the time. Since I build web based I do end up making them public, but really only built for myself.

We curated over 200 (and still growing) great example of podcast cover art. You can filter covers by categories and other criteria, to find great examples of what works best to hook listeners.

Thanks! Yep built with LaravelPHP, and Nova as the really simple CMS (https://nova.laravel.com/).

So were all the other states they called, what's your point?

Headline is not true

Headline is accurate

Not only is the headline not identical to the article, but it is also not true. It is also against the site guidelines, but no one cares for those anyways.

The title of the article is "Biden defeats Trump to win White House, NBC News projects"

Exactly, which is not the title in this submission - which is editorializing and misleading.

Cope more

Thanks for the feedback, will add a FAQ or something to explain, but posting here too:

Red/Blue is an indication who won that state in 2016.

The shading (light -> dark) was mean't be an indicator of how much participation in the current election.

The lighter the color, the closer to 100% of the 2016 voting numbers has already been achieved.

Will add some sorting options!

> The lighter the color, the closer to 100% of the 2016 voting numbers has already been achieved.

That doesn't seem quite right. But in any case, how are numbers represented that already exceed 2016's?

Like many of you, the Election on Tuesday is front of mind, and will be for a few days after :-/

I was thinking about the number of people that actually vote, and with more states allowing early voting, I wondered how it would affect participation in the election (given the current pandemic).

I was able to find the raw data on http://www.electproject.org/ but wasn't happy with how it was being displayed, so I created my own visualization.

electproject migrated to github and I find more useful their infographics tho:

very cool! this i imagine would be reasonably difficult but it would be interesting to see what the delta of registered voters or population. If a state has grown by 200000 hitting their 2016 number maybe is less significant.

Was talking with a friend about this earlier today.

We figured we could access census data for the states/counties and see how the population has shifted, between elections.

Definitely doable, would just need some time to collect the data.

See a few comments mentioning me (the developer :)) so here goes ...

When I started working on newCo I was working on it my spare time. I decided it would best for newCo if Ben was able to focus on it fulltime, instead of splitting the revenue with me, then having to supplement his income with other work.

To be clear Ben was willing to share the revenue with me at the time. I was in a place where that wasn't necessary and I thought it would best if it went to Ben until we hit certain milestones which we never did.

MakerPad was something totally new that Ben started after we decided to fold newCo, he did 100% of the work for many years, and deserves all the success it has brought.

Ben is a friend, and I'm happy I was a part of his "startup" journey. I'd be more than happy to work with him on projects in the future.

I go into all my projects with a clear mind, knowing what I'm risking (usually only my time).

I built Branded Background to help anyone create a Zoom virtual background with their logo on it.

Having your logo on a virtual background is a great way to keep your brand front and center during business calls.

Would love to know know what you think!
