Stunning that they don't invest more in their TV apps, especially the Apple TV app. Their single-row horizontal scroll UI is so frustrating.

The YouTube app is one of the best steaming apps available on Apple TV...because it's not constantly signing you out.

Not sure on that... Amazon prime is pretty atrocious. Similar for Netflix anymore. And the CBS/Paramount TV app won't work right at all with my pihole blocking their tracking service. WTH.

It wouldn't take much for Rumble to do better, but it seems like the TV app experience is such a minimal priority for them.

Max was decent and so was Discovery... Since the merger both are worse and they aren't even merged. Just worse than before.

Damn cool project… I hope full-text search for the saved links is in the works!

Hey HN, solo maker of 2-Minute Apps here. Been freelancing for the longest time now and I've found that my happiest clients tend to prefer transparent, fixed-scope fixed-price project relationships. That, plus my general ability to build simple apps relatively fast (especially with some help from GPT) encouraged me to package my freelance offering as a productized service.
