I often procrastinate because tasks feel vague or overwhelming.
I built beatdelay.co: You write the task you’re avoiding and why you’re avoiding it, and it generates a concrete, step-by-step plan to start executing immediately.
No accounts, no tracking, no emails — just paste your task and go.
It runs entirely in the browser and uses your own AI API key (stored locally).
I’d love feedback on whether this actually helps you get unstuck.
Think of it this way: Developers have GitHub to showcase their code, designers have Behance for their visuals, but SEOs have been left cobbling together screenshots and spreadsheets that quickly become outdated.
The problem is that SEO work is largely invisible and results-based. When an SEO professional wants to prove their expertise, they typically must:
- Take screenshots from Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, etc.
- Create PowerPoint presentations
- Manually update these materials as metrics improve
It's like if developers had to screenshot their code instead of having repositories, or if designers couldn't share their actual designs but only metrics about how people interacted with them.
SEOfolio creates that missing "GitHub for SEOs" - a standardized, professional way to document strategies, display auto-updating results, and share a comprehensive portfolio through a single link.
I'm excited to share SEOfolio, a platform I built to solve a significant pain point for SEO professionals.
The Problem:
SEO specialists have no dedicated way to showcase their work. While web designers have Behance, developers have GitHub, SEO pros are stuck manually creating and updating case studies. This means:
- Hours wasted taking screenshots from Google Analytics/Search Console
- Constant manual updates to keep traffic data current
- Information scattered across different tools and platforms
- Inefficient client acquisition process
The Solution:
SEOfolio is a dedicated platform where SEO professionals can:
- Create a centralized portfolio of client projects
- Display traffic visualizations that update automatically
- Showcase implemented strategies and results achieved
- Share a single professional link during sales calls
Instead of constantly recreating case studies, SEOs can now build a portfolio once and focus on actual client work. The platform generates professional visualizations that help convert prospects into clients.
I'd love feedback from the HN community, especially from SEO professionals and agencies. What other features would make this valuable for you?
While pre-payments might seem like stronger validation, there are good reasons not to take this approach:
1. It's a common scam tactic - many fake founders collect payments for products they never build
2. It can break trust, even with refund options
3. Users actually give better feedback when they know they're helping shape a product
MVP-It focuses on high-intent signals instead: feature requests, pricing feedback, and verified interested users. These are reliable indicators without the ethical risks.
Have you found ways to use pre-payments while maintaining trust?
ok good points. No there will be some angry people for sure. The other big problem is getting traffic. After launch do you offer some good traffic way cheaper than buying real ads?
You're right about traffic being crucial. MVP-It saves you time by having everything ready in one platform - no need to cobble together different tools for your landing page, analytics, and feedback collection.
Then it's up to you to run the outreach: finding potential users on X, Reddit, or relevant communities and sharing your landing page with them. This targeted approach often works better than ads for validation.
I built waitinglist.to: a minimal tool to create a basic waiting list in seconds so you can get back to building.
Free to create, free to share, no setup beyond the essentials.
Would love feedback on whether this fits early-stage validation workflows.
