Cool. I'd also love labels for PR-generated issues.

One of my favorite things about XBMC is the plugins. The plugins are basically web scrapers that present content within the interface. If there isn't one you want for a particular website, build your own! They're written in python and could make a fun weekend project. Once your done, commit it to the official repository.

Also be sure to strip EXIF data since it can contain an original thumbnail. Not all image editors update the thumbnail with changes.

good point. i usually just display the pic, snap a screenshot and all metadata is gone. if it is scaled it obfuscates blurred things, too.

My first usage of twitter was for sending DM's to my window air conditioner. At the time I didn't have a smart phone, so using twitter via SMS was my means of communication.

Soldered the air conditioner remote to a relay connected to the parallel port on my computer. Whenever the script pulled down new DM's from my username with special commands, it would briefly flip the relay turning the ac on or off. Also set up a scheduler to turn it on 30 minutes before i woke up.

Also, if you use firefox, there is a handy addon called "multiproxy switch" which makes handling lots of different proxies much easier.

Thank you. I didn't knew this one. It will be very useful.

The browser extension found on the about page highlights new comments.

This is my favorite LaTeX CV template: http://linux.dsplabs.com.au/resume-writing-example-latex-tem...

I prefer the 2 column layout it uses, the left column for the section headings and the right column for information. I think it looks unique and definitely not something created in a word processor.

Warning: is written in ruby, so might not handle unicode (at least on ruby 1.9) very well. It's reasonably fast these days, however.

The example seems to use both regex and set_quote_sql_str to prevent sql injection.

Interesting, thanks for the pre-coffee clarification. aka I can't read =]

I'm sure people will still mess things up :)
