A huge million bubble roll of bubble wrap. Pop bubbles synced in real-time with a go server and redis. Just launched yesterday and already more than a hundred thousand popped - will the popcalypse happen before the new year?
So this actually is two sites in one:
* Neptune's Chart a fairly boring natal chart interpreting site, put in your birthday and get an astrology reading (free and paid versions, no signup)
* Neptune's Heart it's ridiculous counterpart site where you put in a birthday and a "cosmic whisper" you want to secretly appear in your targets astrology reading on the chart site.
No guardrails on it for now (outside of regular LLM guardrails) good luck have fun!!!
Hand crafted a series of prompts for GTP-3 for sweet, saucy messages and romantic rejection messages. For psycho messages I used one-shot training to add bits of saucy-spice to each of the sweet messages.
> Hey there! I was just thinking about you and wanted to let you know that I love you more than anything in the world. You mean everything to me and I can't imagine my life without you. I hope you have a great day and I can't wait to see you tonight. Love always, your Darling
Example of a rejection message:
> Hey, thanks for letting me know that you're interested in me romantically. I appreciate it, but I'm just not interested in pursuing anything with you in that way. I hope you understand.
The purpose of the project is to be a bit thought provoking and hopefully humorous - since it is now pretty easy to generate quite emotional content - and we can ponder the consequences if someone were to use this technology in making real connections.
One interesting thing - sweet messages to women are way more often over the top using exaggerated near-poetry language compared to sweet messages to men.
Dude, at least hang out on your own website the night you post it. I'm making wubs on my own because I'm an electronic musician, but it's not very rewarding with nobody else around.
Lets hope this doesn't provoke China to destroy another satellite in orbit. The last time they did that 150,000 debris particles were smashed into orbit.
this is cute. I prefer the way it is implemented in LightTable (for clojure and eventually python) where you don't actually have to click anything. The execution is visualized as you type.
no need to look back in horror - the Chibok kidnapping for example happened a few weeks ago; for religious reasons.
"preventing" premarital sex and even banning gay marriage seem like more of a first world problems when compared with the barbaric crimes that occur with tragic frequency - today.
The peachtree is one of the most innovative printers out there. Their drip system to remove one expensive stepper motor and moving platform is genius in my opinion.
The poor man's 3D printer looks to be a bit larger and is probably faster to print.
The peachyprinter's (not peachtree) drip system also drastically reduces the resin needed in comparison to existing DLP/SLA/Photolithographic type printers.
