Anthropic's marketing department is so creative

This is all consistent with the beliefs of many AI (and EA) types who are not associated with the company.

> Using AI is like a shameful drug addiction or a weird sex fetish

This is unfair to drug users and perverts

I thought it was booby trap

It's all gone tits up.

When my nephew went into computer science, I had to warn him about the bracelet cult people

What the..

How shallow does one need be to feel compelled to identify with this?

Yeah I’d be interested at about a third of the asking price

It’s hard to beat LilyGo’s lineup in this area

I turked for a bit trying to make some extra cash leading up to my wedding, but it was a very time-inefficient way to make money. I think I managed to wring 10 or 20 bucks out of it tops after plugging at it for a month.

How many days in a row can you do this, and then still be able to get things done when Codex is unavailable or the price has been raised to $UNAFFORDABLE?

Works for me, they also emailed it to me this morning

It will be very interesting to see if this lives up to the hype and/or if it is able to recoup the enormous amount of money spent developing it. The expectations from everyone seem to be so high; it's a very long way to the bottom if it somehow flops.

Personally, things got a little too realistic for me around the time of GTA IV. The earlier games felt like cartoony fun but I started to feel bad about the stuff I was doing in IV. I tried V a year or two back (I think they've maybe remastered it since?) but it ran so terribly on the Steam Deck that I refunded it.

If it lives up to the hype it will definitely recoup the expense.

AI splash image; didn't read

Fair. We spent months optimizing query execution and approximately 1 minute optimizing the hero image. Clearly the latter made the bigger impression :)

Their stupid ai chat bubble keeps popping up messages too

I use Typesense and am happy. This site def makes me not want to use Manticore at all. Docs should be prominent, not all the "better perf" and comparisons
