Sounds like this was foreshadowed in his SXSW talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESXOAJRdcwQ&t=53s&ab_channel...

Great watch would recommend

Sounds like he's a meme snob, not a meme bob: https://imgur.com/AdnT9mK

This looks like it came from some place you got off a wrong turn on the internet

Like those fake Pixar movies

Same, also surprised there how highly butcher ranks with baker not even in the to 10. I had the impression that meat was a luxury in Medieval times

Maybe paying someone else to make your bread is even more luxurious. I wonder if people who ran communal ovens, where you bring your own dough ready-to-bake and then take it out after it cooks, were counted as "bakers".

And who KNOWS where candlestick maker ranks!

I use Obsidian https://obsidian.md/ and track it withing a git repo for my personal projects. The digital garden style works for me and I think it suits the evolving and interconnected nature of documentation. The graph view is a cool feature.

It never occurred to me that hardware could be open source, very interesting.

Really? Have you been living in a cave for the past two plus decades? 3D printing, arduino, opencores, etc have been big news and are all open source hardware.

Oh wow, someone learned something new and exciting today! Instead of celebrating them expanding their knowledge and horizon, let's make fun of them!

For specific things that makes more sense but for the entire concept of open source hardware from someone on HN it's just wild to me.
