Not the person you're responding to, but I assume that the kickbacks comment was referring to cases like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_for_cash_scandal

That's no DeLorean, it looks like an old Z28, maybe about ~1980

I'm sorry that someone close to you is dealing with that struggle, but I have two questions:

1) Do you think that your friend was at all dissuaded by current US drug policy? Of course this is impossible to know for sure, but I'm curious to hear your view.

2) Is having their door kicked through in the middle of the night by SWAT, and being sent to prison in any way advantageous to someone struggling with addiction?

It represents the "line of scrimmage", which is where the ball starts at the beginning of each play.

The yellow lines marks the line to gain for a first down, not the line of scrimmage. Some broadcasts are showing the line of scrimmage now usually as red or blue IIRC, but yellow is used across the board for the line to gain.

My own project (http://flowlab.io) is a visual programming language for 2d games.

"sweat equity" specifically means doing repairs to a property to increase its value, as opposed to building equity by making payments. A tech worker's income is not sweat equity.

People often claim that, but it's not a particularly credible argument. Emergency room visits account for less than 2% of total healthcare spending in the US.
