I was fascinated by this once I learned how it worked. At the time I was learning php and wrote a script that would draw graphics based on the requesting ip address and return as gif, then used that as my avatar on a few phpbbs. Learned a lot.

Do you mean Reason? This was the first virtual synth with patching UI that Propellerhead released a bit after ReBirth.

ReBirth was amazing though and would love if someone brings it back. They had an iPad version that worked pretty well but apparently Roland forced them to take it down.

Pretty sure it was Nicholas Jitkoff[1] and his team. He had done Quicksilver[2] a few years back which popularized this single input interface for osx desktop.

Makes sense. His name is on some of the patents.

It’s a DAG so you can just overengineer it with postgres and a transitive closure.

Easy, add a “roles” temporal table to store all these rels and more.

Hilarious song and a decent viz, thanks for sharing :]

Aleksi Perälä has been this for me the past few years and is the one pushing mystical electronic music forward that’s approachable in the way BoC and RDJ are.

I have limited exposure to Clojure transducers but I spend most of my time writing JS/TS and I've found thi.ng/transducers[0] a pleasure to work with and super elegant for constructing data processing workflows.

The opposite for me, working in Firefox and not Chrome. It's a WEBGL2 shader I believe.

I'm running Firefox 79.0 and Chromium Version 83.0.4103.61 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 18.04 (64-bit).

Works with chrome, make sure you don't have ublock origin, privacy badger or similar plugins working and should hopefully display properly.

This. It was privacy badger blocking connect.soundcloud.

Great, I can now attempt to sell my Vive Pro because this will surely drive up demand for it.
