There is some migration aid for this, as it is really common lisp based statistical package like xlisp.

https://lisp-stat.dev/docs/resources/xlisp/

Winner has to take over history. As said, controlling history (like there is no starting of Ukraine around 1000 C.E. by Viking, otherwise the "since ancient time there is no Moscow but a forest" does not work very well for occupier) is the key to control a country.

Just like the non-one China may have more time than the one-China and definitely many of the Chinese territory is not China, until Qing-Ming. Well, many of the Russian terriorties are actually Qing. What is China then, a question cannot be asked even if you loved China (as you have to give 1/4 of the Qing land to Russia ...).

Who control the past control the future. Take care, the occuiped will say those are fake objects.

Shocking. I still using the xlisp-stat based social simulation book first edition (20+ years ago). The move to ... does not fit my mind. I do not know there is a re-start!!!

Have been using SPSS decades and I think it is a good statistical tool for those who do not want to do programming much. It gives me something Iu can easily explain to and teacher other statistical users (e.g. hand in many papers with some regression analysis in it and team members who have no programming experience and do NOT want to learn much other than absolutely minimum and necessary; they are social scientists and that is it). I knew R, python, SPSS, SIR/DBMS and most of SAS all can do this. Frankly only SPSS they can use. And I believe they can use it after I am not in the picture anymore still. That is the use case of SPSS. There are more people in that hole than your think.

It's 80% about having a point and click interface, 10% about path dependency effects, and 10% about whether or not they have a paid license.

Whilst it might be treasure for hacker, but for "learner" could I say any Windows are horrible precisely due to this baggage.

I thought the open source (in fact free source) started with printer driver ... It is always closed but you can hack it. As regards for the ink it is a different matter. Can you have open source printer but the ink is sort of close in some sense. You can open the source but not the keys I wonder.

The difference is one is pure public good but hardware is not that pure. And hence you have other concerns and other means.

Brief:

People employed in wind = 2 x in coal and in solar = 5 x in coal

And not supporting sunset technology would please Margaret and Ronan I guess, and in particular Margaret has fought the coal mining industry in UK. Yes, it should have handled it better. But is it now the right wing supporting the coal like the left wing supporting it in the past.

Great move, Republican.

I think whilst the video is great, the guy missed the deep question raised by the audience.

Using the language in the talk, the question is may be God speak Calculus but is it the only language it/he/she speak?

You have that concern whilst just like a predecessor in post Pythagoras, post Newton, post Einstein, post QM, post AI, we got a strong and strong "understanding" and manipulation of the universe. And those understanding provide us with a great physical well being and more wealth. But is the world a better place?

The tradition question is still why we can send people to the moon but never able to solve the problem of ghetto.

Minor issue: Even he has to admit the assumption of continuity (which mathematically different from differential but mostly do), there are many are discrete and non-differential. Hence God if it/he/she has to cover everything, he must have to speak another language. QED

BTW I like the T-shirt and go to study more calculus. Great talk.
