the whole point is that you guide them, you make sure they dont make this mistakes.
the power of ai is not that its smarter or better than you (at least yet) its that it will just keep grinding while your thinking, making new things, whole the context that it cant.
you can set up and agent with a good harness to make sure the code will be allright, with good guardrail while you do elevated work.
use them as the tool they are not as the tool you wish them to be.
While an attack like this will grant physical access to the car, which absolutely sucks, they would still need to bypass the actual pin. So at least there is that.
This I think is another good advantage for the cars to do OTA updates as you can get security fixes fast.
> Tesla claims that this security issue is mitigated with the “PIN to Drive” feature, which would still allow attackers to open and access the car, but would not allow them to drive it. However, this feature is optional, and Tesla owners who are not aware of these issues may not be using it.
It also suggests that (at least some of) the possible mitigations may require hardware changes, which couldn't be done OTA.
the whole point behind Vehicle to grid is not to sustain your house but to stabilize the grid at peaks, don't think as your car but as the whole fleet of electric cars able to do V2G, that means that the grid could use a bunch of cars to sustain a small peak and avoid the need altogether of very expensive peaker plants
I recently learned that Jason died in 2017 and it was incredibly sad, even though I stopped using 3dbuzz a long time ago, it was an incredible tool when I started in the VFX industry, it was affordable incredible good training.
If I'm misreading your comment and it's not actually a sarcastic summary of the article, I'm sorry.
To me, this article doesn't sound like a rant by someone who profoundly hates process. Ignoring all their complaints about Jira & Confluence's notoriously clunky UIs, the person isn't complaining about process itself. They're complaining that the process the tools encourage is substantially worse than the process they had with other less-rigid tools.
i still believe that this companies were their business model permits them to pay a bay area engineer 100k+ a year are them paying engineers with the same level 50% or less on other countries or cities based on their location is super immoral.
