Don't use LLMs except for the most menial things. Get as much practice in creating various things. Study expert-level books on related subjects. Foster your creativity in other areas too (i.e. writing, drawing, music). Don't pass up the chance to work with veteran developers; be ready for that opportunity when it comes.

Database systems lock pages when writing to them, to maintain integrity. Using 1GB pages would cause excessive blocking in many if not most transactional databases.

In database engines that use page locks, the locked page size can be different from the file/mapped/allocated page sizes. If you still have excessive locking while using smaller page locks, there are other ways to reduce contention as well, such as CoW to protect concurrent reads, deferred write-merging to assist concurrent writes, and the storage equivalent of RCU.

I don't think hardware page size has to match database page size. It would if Postgres was mmap'ing it. https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/runtime-config-prese... says the database page size is 8KB by default.

You might want a lawyer's help to get that person to assist. Perhaps through an agreement not to sue for past wrongs, and maybe with a payment.

There are no steam gauge backup instruments in the F-35 and there is no HUD either, everything relies on the HMDS and the MFD. If the MFD happened to not work, that would be fatal because (almost) everything depends on it because it's like a almost like a Tesla console. GFL piloting an F-35 without an MFD in IMC.
