A toroidal plane wraps around left to right and also top to bottom. The left and right edges are connected and the top and bottom edges are connected.

I would imagine the definition of surround would have to be modified accordingly.

A Gervais principle man?

Forget INTP, Sociopath|Clueless|Loser is definitely the most effective categorisation of roles in organisation I have encountered:

This is really interesting, thanks for sharing it! Is this how American offices actually work?

I just learned about this apparently popular interpretation and after going out and reading about it enough, I had to come back and find this thread just to say:

"I'm in this photo and I don't like it".jpg

I'm afraid it might be true! This explains a lot for me.

Finally taking the time to really learn rust. It's a language that has intrigued me for a long time.

Eh, I personally enjoyed the series, but I wouldn't recommend anything beyond book 1. Book 2 is ok. Book 3 really spoiled the series for me because of the inconsistent behavior if the main character. (Keeping it vague to avoid spoilers)

Same. Notice I said "the book" while mentioning the trilogy ;-)

The Deccan plateau is one of the world's most geologically inactive areas. The ring of fire goes through the circle but isn't a major component of the circle. There aren't even a remarkably high destiny of volcanoes.

What is active is the Himalayan mountain range.

True, I should have added historically.

Nonetheless, it's still close to geologically active areas.

e.g. the Indian Ocean 2004 Tsunami.
