So is life. Its great to see that you fixed the plugin and it works very well now. Congrats!

I'm just glad to be out of it. The Scala community really was becoming toxic, sleeping was hard. Hopefully you guys have all resolved your differences now and things are more harmonious.


The compile times for things of similar complexity to the running example in this presentation are pretty much negligible. If you haven't given it a try recently you really should.


@OlegYch's solution also represents a good trade off of complexity vs. convenience: his solution is simpler but doesn't get along so nicely with type inference; mine gets on just fine with type inference, but is more complex and depends (no pun intended) on dependent method types. As ever YMMV.
