Was having a lot of blood clots. Eventually found that artificial sugar erythritol was a major cause. Advil being the other one i found.

Thanks for the info about Advil. I didn't know NSAIDs increased the risk of blood clots.

Yes, 100s of billions of dollars were at risk on that vaccine. Kickbacks all over the place to the politicians to make sure everyone got it as many times as possible.

Never mind, there were cheap and effective drugs available that were more effective anyway, but emergency approval for a vaccine required that there was no alternatives available. Hence The demonization of anything other than the vaccine.

People keep saying that about more effective drugs but treating viruses is incredibly hard, and non-specific. Which drugs are you talking about? Ivermectin, mefloquine?

there is good evidence that Fluvoxamine works (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34717820/) but it was never approved for use by the FDA who prefers approving drugs that cost an arm and a leg with very little proof that they do anything

That paper says nothing about fluvoxamine's effect on outpatients and doesn't compare its efficacy in terms of viral load to things known to directly impact it such as antivirals and vaccines. I'm also not 100% sure how to read those graphs to be honest but at one point being vaccinated imbued you with 99.99% chance of infection without hospitalization.

I'm not saying fluvoxamine is bad or anything. By all means use it if you lack access to the vaccine. The FDA isn't dictating what Brazil can do. The point of the vaccine was to get us to a place where we can go back to our normal lives while avoiding the usual catastrophic circumstances that accompany a pandemic.

It could be the same electron after all. Although probably not.

One electron theory. https://youtu.be/9dqtW9MslFk?si=qdWGUyJnDRCOns9F

Facebook leaderboard for AT&T back when they were dropping calls like crazy. So really early in social media days.

The more you commented or liked posts the higher on leader board. Top comments would be automatically highlight.

I kept trying to get word to people in charge that the project would fail. No one would listen.

Went live for 1 day. Every top comment, was on how horrible AT&T was.

Shut down next day. 3 months of work for nothing.

I knew a company where they had cookie data for ads. They were able to figure out how tons of companies were related from that. Company A would own a bunch of other companies. But certain people would be common to all of them. Creating connections.

Twitter is doing fantastic.

Just because people want to go back to more censorship doesn’t mean Twitter is dying.

> Twitter is doing fantastic.

Reported yesterday [0] that it’s worth 73% less than when elon took over.

You absolutely may have a different definition of fantastic but what was once one of the largest social sites losing 3/4 of its value in 15 months is significant.

aside from actual financial analysts, my own personal anecdata has pretty much mirrored their analysis. i’ve gone back and gave it an honest try like 4 or 5 times and each time has been worse than the previous. it just reinforced why i (and more and more people) choose to spend our time in other places.

Just gotta say that both things can be true.

Investment banks can find it worth less than it was from a return on stock financial view,

and millions of users can find it a fantastic messaging portal,

and individual people may not like aspects of the portal.

"was once one of the largest social sites" - I feel that X is still one of the largest social sites wordlwide and especially in the US.. Priori Data has them in the top 12 of the world at 600 million users 6 days ago.

Was in a constant state of inflammation and pain. Could barely even get out of bed. I got desperate and did an elimination diet of chicken, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. No oils, spices. Baked or boiled for everything.

Body completely calmed down and it’s the best I have ever felt.

I was nearly the same, but eventually narrowed most of my issues down to poultry and wheat. Dairy causes some issues, but a lactose intolerance is pretty common among adults.

Tendency to try different things to avoid being bored. Either new ways to do old things, or finding new hobbies.

Both can be big advantages.

Rare or even legendary.

Long time ago I had to rebuild a cousins computer because it was crashing from all the malware.

After I finished cleaning it, I plugged it into the cable modem within seconds the computer was having pop-up ads, and every kind of malware you could imagine.

So rebuilt it once again, then installed antivirus from a disk before hooking it up to the internet. It was actually functional.
