How is this off-topic? It gives potential applicants a fair warning about unfair treatment.


It's off topic because a proper discussion would need to go into details, let the other side respond, and give the community enough information to decide for itself what is fair. There isn't room for that in a job post thread.


I don't think it's off-topic at all. I appreciate these comments so I know which companies to avoid wasting time on.

If someone else doesn't want to read it, they can simply minimize the thread.


As a rule of thumb - if the compensation is not stated, then it's below average or very much below what you'd expect. If they want to attract talent then they share it. The company I work for pays way over 'market rate' and we can use shovel to dig through talented applicants.
