First off, that's quite a huge stretch of my argument, and not what I'm claiming. Second, I'm not even sure it would be safer to use an oxen and sled on a modern road in the city center.

Further, what you're describing isn't practical in the modern age. Tactile buttons in a car work, and they work well. You can reasonably feel out and press these buttons, knowing that you have pressed them by their audible or physical "click" feeling, without taking your eyes off the road.

With tablets, you have to look at the screen to 1. Find where a toggle button is, 2. Make sure you've pressed the right part of the screen.

Tablet UIs change from screen to screen, based on the context of what you're doing or whatever, but tactile buttons are fixed in place, encouraging muslcle memory and further reducing the attention that is diverted from the road.

I think TylerE's point is that further 50% gains in six months are not guaranteed. You can look at any stock index and find assets that spiked in a similar manner. Had you invested in those, you would have made the same return without having to buy, store and run hardware.
