I wonder if this would be a favorable time for someone within the EU to pursue MS with regards the windows user account being tied to an online account unless you jump through unofficial (or at least hidden) hoops. In the context of a business/office I doubt it's a big issue, but it'd be interesting whether there's any angle that businesses or individuals should be able to run their computers independently. There's been a strong distaste for the compulsory online user account for years now, although knowing luck if forced MS would find a way to only comply within territories they have to rather than making it a basic opt-in for all users wherever they live.
Not me and neither people in my workplace. I always give them a shot in case I am missing a productivity increase then give up. The latest one was pulumi cloud assistant. We even gave up on code assistants.
(in my exp and geo location at least) Hiring and dating are very similar, the more desperate you look the less respect you get. There are a lot of companies out there and an infinite number of ways to make money except getting a job. Good luck!
In my circle, nobody with some education considers crypto a scam.. And more joiners every day.
The fact that backbone financial institutions are replacing their dinosaur infra with XRP is a big indication that crypto is here to stay.
All the arguments against crypto are still superficial and non-convincing. It seems like most financial institutions could be replaced by smart contracts. People who are into speculation also have a place away from the exclusive stocks club. Others who dont trust governments and banks have a solution now (truckers protest in Canada)..
We are somehow back to the "is internet a scam", or before it "is electricity a scam".. They are not, they are a necessary evolution to meet people'd needs.
