Anthropic's public writing style is very different from Claude's because it's written by humans. Even in their job ads they ask candidates to not use AI for any writing (or at least they used to).

Makes sense. Steve jobs didn't let his kid touch apple devices.

Yes. AIs are a lot better at coding than they are at writing. I author less than 1% of the code I push these days, but still write the grand majority of emails and posts. Probably I would do it 100% human if it was high stakes and I expected it to be read by millions.

The first rule of drug dealers: Don't use your own drug!

The phrase is, "don't get high on your own supply."

One of the Ten AI Commandments.

I am feeling nauseous and I dind't even think that it might have been due to what I was reading. Nice info, thanks.

I only realised when I was told about it that, while for me it doesn't have that nausea trigger, it does have a bit more alert associated with it — which is probably why I made my comment at all. I am not emetophobic (might have risen to that level as a child).

But having an awareness of that alert feeling is a very useful mental model for how some other words or phrases may cause a heightened response with different parts of an audience; it is a useful caution.

It actually works pretty well on mobile (tested on 5g, 4g on a train). I didn't show it in the video as I find the asynchronous workflow more useful

My bad, it should be fixed now.

This is so reductive. Open source has nothing to do with communism.

As a socialist, I would disagree.

Communism is about a would-be utopia after the workers own the means of production.

For us tech workers, it could be argued that the means of production are source code. Thus, there is a socialist aspect to open source - but that's a good thing!

The means of production are computers, no?

Sorry, I'm a long time lurker but a new poster. I thought that the submit form would prevent link resubmission. I'll do a search next time.
