Get the old reddit addon, still works for me (firefox)

pndy · 2026-10-28T15:56:32

For me the extension has stopped working around 2 hours ago and page loads new interface

silon42 · 2026-10-29T07:39:18

Yup... stopped working, so I can't browser reddit anymore anywhere where I'm not logged in (work, phone, tablet).

krazingans12346 · 2026-10-28T21:36:11

it doesnt work anymore while logged out, since this morning. reddit is forcing people to log in to use it now. they want to datamine people more, since the fiasco 2 months ago where they were forcing that login popup.

> Apple is not a good person

It's a company.

Well, the first part didn't happen, and the second part has always been there.

slater · 2026-10-26T22:41:02

> What is the best way to the site?

The search box at the bottom of the page

nephihaha · 2026-10-26T22:53:25

Thank you. I've been looking at the wrong end of the page and tried to do it with an external search engine that returned no useful results.

greenbit · 2026-10-26T22:44:24

Put "Koenig" in that.

wrong link?

slater · 2026-10-17T17:38:36

You know, when I want to know country rankings of digital freedoms, the very first place i go to is eylenburg.github.io

What are their sources for their statistics? "Source: eylenburg.github.io"

Ah.

easterncalculus · 2026-10-17T17:47:47

You can click each box in the matrix and see the source for the acts in question from each country. What kind of quantitative measure are you expecting?

slater · 2026-10-16T20:28:08

Money number must go up.

chrisjj · 2026-10-16T20:42:43

But that did not previously entail shit level must go up.

slater · 2026-10-17T16:02:20

I'd say that's just a function of money number having to go up. Since at some point you can't charge more for [thing], maybe there are other ways of making money off [thing]? Let's use a bit less plastic on it! Boom, saved on manufacturing AND shipping.

chrisjj · 2026-10-17T16:10:29

I think it wasn't previously.

And enshittification is rarely less plastic or anything, but more ads etc.
