While I don't have scientific or medical studies to back this up, I feel the same about people with aquariums or bird feeders who spend time watching them.
I have always had an aquarium in the house and bird feeders in the backyard. I'll stop and watch them while I eat or just need to disconnect. Better than staring at a screen.
I feel way better studying the fish in my little microcosm in my 120-gallon freshwater planted tank or looking out into my backyard at the menagerie of birds, chipmunks, and squirrels around the bird feeders.
I think this really highlights the changing face of war.
It's hard to go to war now when your enemy can just use a few small drones to take out everything your citizens care about in a single day (social media, online deliveries etc).
And these things are practically irreplaceable in a war when you're sanctioned up the wazoo. Where are you buying racks of Xeons and DDR5 RAM and Nvidia GPUs?
I've abandoned my Google apps after all the requirements over the last year or so. It's too much of a hassle. Apple is friendlier. Also, it wasn't worth justifying 1% of the income and 99% grief compared to Apple.
