This post cannot be taken seriously because:

1. You didn't cite any sources to your claims.

2. The author didn't even reveal his identity (posting under the author name of "news")

3. Self proclamations like this "ArabCrunch is an independent media, an alternative to the lies of mainstream media." don't help you at all.

tldr: I'm adding this website to my blacklist.

you must be jew or a CIA or Mossad Agent

You didn't address my points. Just another round of wild claims.

and you must be a poster child for Poe's Law

> PickToRead is a minimalistic and intuitive news reader.

So far it's just text on an annoying background. And if you're going to use a one then make sure the color of the text and the background don't match.[1]

> PickToRead changes the way that you read the news online by saving your time and letting you communicate with the people whom you choose.

It doesn't save me time if it requires me to register just to read an article.

Can you provide details on how the exploit works? Even in Arabic as am pretty sure someone will be able to provide a good enough translation for us.

Driving a tractor in a field and driving a car in towns/roads with other cars and pedestrians a whole lot different game.

The title should be edited.

Well, it's less risky to drive in a paddock if that's what you mean.

The tractor still has to dodge fences, rocks, trees, etc. No risk of lives, but it still requires a fair bit of work.

fences, rocks and trees don't move, pedestrians do, they may suddenly jump on your path, the tractor just need to calculate the route once

Fair enough, though as I understand the tractors try to avoid rocks, and so they may have to change their route whilst on the job.

It works on Firefox (using the Nightly build 25.0a1).

All you need to be on the front page these days is to mention the NSA or PRISM.

> And security breaches take time (> 2 days) to properly investigate and report.

We can see that they did their job correctly by the overwhelming amount of details they provided us with.

Transparency? After 3 days? Transparency would be telling us right away (with an update as soon as they know more). They should also tell us what kind of info was taken and what does sensitive information mean to them since they don't seem to be sure about that.

> Sensitive personal information was encrypted and cannot be accessed, however, we have not been able to rule out the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed.

Edit: and seriously, what does this "updating our server software, and rebuilding our entire database" mean?

> Edit: and seriously, what does this "updating our server software, and rebuilding our entire database" mean?

my WAG: paving systems; reinstalling the server OS; updating packages; restoring db from known clean backup; replaying logs/binlogs that are known clean?

That would be my guess.

No. The correct translation is "billions of billions"
