I am Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience most of which consists in developing Android applications. I've first started working on Android when the SDK was still in beta and worked on a wide range of apps (from dating apps to automotive diagnostics tools).

Remote: Yes Location: Romania, but timezone won't be an issue, I'm more productive in the evening and I can work at least 4 hours during the US business hours (even for Pacific timezone). I'm also open to traveling and working onsite for short periods of time when needed.

I know this was supposed to be a joke, but he can't retroactively change the license for the current released version. Any license changes will only apply to future releases.


google is working on a new compiler for android http://tools.android.com/tech-docs/jackandjill that will convert java code into dex. I don't see Go replacing Java for android anytime soon, if they had plans they would probably not invest in this new toolchain.


I don't understand why so much hate. If you don't like it or feel the need for such an app no one is forcing you to use it.


Because it's essentially a "show HN" of an app that doesn't solve a problem (or at least doesn't explain how it does). HN is a place for healthy debate, no? Nobody said, "sucks" and moved on. In most comments, there's at least a reason stated for why this is either confusing, pointless, or unnecessary.
