This attack lets you use all the functions of the key fob, and not just the action captured.

It makes no suggestion that it’s possible to start a push-to-start car.

Someone looking to break into your car will probably use a brick, not a flipper zero.

Bricks attract lots of attention in busy parking lots. An unlock chirp, removing some bags, and walking off will appear legitimate to bystanders.

Its flipper zero performing this

Suggests that it can be used to start a car. Whether it was a fob start or push start isnt specified.

which slide suggests this? i didnt find anything suggesting you could start a car with rollback

> Whether it was a fob start or push start isnt specified.

... It's literally in the title on the first slide.

It is only an attack on keyless entry. Keyless start systems all use a different short-range radio system.

An attack on keyless entry might let someone trigger a remote starter if supported, but this doesn't enable anyone to drive the vehicle, because you will need to authenticate with the keyless start system after entering the vehicle before you can put it in drive (and to keep the engine running for longer than the predetermined timeout).

I think the de minimis exemption is still in effect temporarily because they don't have a system set up to charge the tariffs yet.

I'm all in with the JetBrains love, but for clarity, you can keep the first version you paid for indefinitely not the last. So if you decide to stop paying the subscription you have to go back to a year old version.

Right, the version that was active when you last paid the bill.

I've been paying for the subscription for years, so "first" isn't quite right either, because for me that would be some very old version.

Garmin connect also has segment feature. Might have to set it up on the website, not sure.

It is default, but unless your activities are public, your data isn't included. It will still tell you where your recorded activity would rank (and a CTA to change the privacy). I have a couple of somewhat popular segments I ride. I try to stay in the top 100.

I really agree. I think the key to your key is you have to actively seek out media that interests you. Don't just be a passive consumer of it.

It's #9 on the overall 'plugin" list

What list do you base this on?

Think the OP misremembered it, It wasn't global cooling in the 80's it was nuclear winter. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_winter

No there was some global cooling whataboutism going on in the late 70's early 80's, but I didn't hear much about it until the late 90's, when we started talking about the 33 year solar cycle.

I don't know if it's the best one, but momkeytype.com has an option where you can not only set it for different written languages, but it also has programming language options.

Perhaps it's because Thinkpads have their own subreddit so a lot of mentions|questions|comments get siphoned off from a more general subreddit like /r/laptops
