We’ve built the artificial intelligence platform for the legal profession. Our machine learning technology and product has helped over 250 customers across the world, including one-fifth of the global 100 law firms and all of the Big Four Accountancy firms.
We are looking for smart people to join us to maintain and develop our architecture and infrastructure - both cloud (AWS) and physical.
Luminance is UK-based startup creating the market-leading artificial intelligence platform for the legal industry. Our platform, combining machine learning with an easy-to-use UI, aids law firms complete their legal work, with a current focus on M&A due diligence processes.
We are looking to hire DevOps Engineers who will operate our hosted platform: responding to events and proactively making improvements.
We’re looking for people with experience in, or a willingness to learn:
- how large web-based application platforms work
- cloud hosting
- automating everything
- making technology work reliably and securely
- liaising with other internal teams and customers
We develop software that allows computers to gain human perception through machine learning.
Projects we've developed so far: Taggar (www.taggarapp.com), a mobile augmented reality app; tagme (tagme.taggarapp.com), fun face tagging and Sense (www.sense360.io), intelligence for smart devices.
We're keen to hire to work on develop and op our web stack (including three.js, backbone.js, node, postgres, ansible). We're willing to teach you if you're willing to learn!
Our core software is focused on pattern recognition and visual tracking, and extends to the building of large scale systems and applications on top of this technology. Current applications include an iOS app that lets you reveal, create and share tags on objects around you; and a prototype app for Google Glass.
We are keen to meet intelligent individuals with a strong mathematical background (e.g. Mathematicians, Computer Scientists and Engineers), as well as experience in one or more of: visual processing algorithms, web development, mobile app development or large-scale computing architecture. However, if you are bright, enthusiastic about what we're doing and about technology in general, and a quick learner, we can teach you!

We’re looking to fill a devops role to lead the operation of our server side architecture. We'd love to hear from you if you've experience in and interest of large scale distributed HTTP based architectures; linux and open source web server (HAProxy, SQL, no SQL etc.) administration; automated deployment, monitoring and scaling; as well as problem solving and a desire to learn new technologies.
