That's nice! However it'd be more awesome if there was a local version, not tied to GitHub but instead like. you run the node part of VSCode in a development VM and access the UI from a web browser on the host machine.

Me too i would be super interested in having a cloud hosted version of vscode!

Hi, sorry I wanted to reply to your comment on "ffffound.com closing" but it's archived I think.

Do you know how ffffounds recommendation algorithm was working? Was it the most recent 10 people who liked it, or the first 10?

I believe this has to do with accessibility https://code.facebook.com/posts/457605107772545/under-the-ho...

The virtual assistant on this thing looks surprisingly smart. That part of the product won't be ready until the full launch in March http://www.forbes.com/sites/bensin/2016/11/24/vinci-is-alrea...

This is really cool. This makes it possible to use Visual Studio Code in the browser, and that means you can use Code on a Chromebook. Perfect for editing Markdown.

Fun project, API works perfectly, but as Robin Sloan says, "it could go offline at any time."

This is from the same guy who brought you "Why FogBugz Lost to Jira" BTW https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=10313489

Looks like Airbnb and Automation Anywhere are already working together on this.

The piece starts with the companies on equal footing and ends with the logo belonging to AirBNB. To me that implies AirBNB is buying them off.

It's a win-win...and AirBNB will surely be able to negotiate the bill of its design consultants steeply downward for their lack of due diligence.
