They are actively transforming it into "ask Gemini" though. Which for me is often wrong. The organic search results are farther down, and if a lucrative term...you have to scroll past ads also. And the quality is not what it once was.

So Google is polluting what it means anyway.

Not exactly what you're describing, and not shipping yet, but a cluster in a box. 8 cores/node, 8 nodes.

NYT seems to have found a way to keep the actual article content away from archive.is

K3 is cheaper from other providers. $1/$9, though I can't speak to how good those providers are.

https://openrouter.ai/moonshotai/kimi-k3

K3 TOS says they must sell no lower than what Moonshot charges. If you have a provider selling for less than $15/mtok, they are violating TOS from Moonshot.

looks like the underlying vendor is charging correct prices https://inference.net/models/kimi-k3/

however the listing on open router has a `/fp4` suffix, so perhaps this is an unlisted, quanted model for a lower price?

as the saying goes, you get what you pay for

we require ZDR and Fireworks provides that on contract, so for us they are the same price

Check out Neuralwatt. They are ZDR and great energy based K3 pricing. They also have a K3-fast which is basically no reasoning (in addition to regular K3).

that is nothing like how we consume Ai

industry standard is price-per-1M tokens, don't do something different, even Google caved and moved from their char based pricing to tokens (the fundamental unit of computation in ai)

GPUs are rented in $/h, like every other piece of hardware in cloud

Why are you assuming the gpus are rented?

Anyway, they still have token based pricing if you prefer. The energy pricing is often cheaper though

Not interested, it looks amateur

A trust page is required like https://trust.fireworks.ai

Very happy with my $10/month OpenCode Go sub for personal use

Energy based is way more fundamental than token based. To each their own.

Had to try it. And it delivers :)

> hes never coming over Dario Amodei

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei will actually be joining President Donald Trump for a private dinner at the White House tonight, Sunday, September 27, 2026.

CNBC While it is true that he was noticeably absent from the high-profile state dinner held for Chinese President Xi Jinping earlier this week—which was attended by other major tech figures like Elon Musk and Sam Altman—

Does it expose all my "Jesus Christ Claude, why on earth did you do that? Revert that now and do x instead." ?

Meaning, does it prune out some of the not meaningful path to what exists? It's hard to visualize what they actually get to review.

Apparently they updated it perhaps based on your comment?

> . The accepted runs cost $4.65. Failed attempts and replacement runs increased the complete cost to $5.14.

Oh - I see that now. It's possible I missed it originally - I did read the article but I was skimming quickly. Mea culpa, if so.

Aside from the list of current concerns that others have covered well...Google is very good at "boiling frogs". That is, rolling out unpopular things in phases.

This could be, for example, step one in the return of AMP, but with a new twist. Where google conveniently returns the content of your website, without directly sending the user to your website. With whatever changes it chooses to make.

Genuinely curious...the output drop in refining from Russia is not also a large factor in diesel (and other Petro) price hikes?

Or are you saying the Ukraine drone strikes have not affected the output at a scale where it matters globally?

Russia stopped exporting diesel due to Ukrainian strikes. That badly hurt Turkey and to lesser extent Brazil. And Brazil started to get diesel from US allowing US companies to make a lot of profit. So Ukrainian strikes clearly affect global prices.

But then it also makes Chinese EV including trucks extremely attractive replacement. So China making a profit as well.

A lot of the Ukraine strikes affect Russia only. Russia has changed to import a lot more, and exporting less (I do not know the balance - most refining countries both import and export fuel from different locations), but the vast majority of the oil refined in Russia was used in Russia and they are unable to replace it.

Ukraine strikes to impact the world price. However most of the impact is in Russia, elsewhere the effect is less. Iran is larger effect because the middle east as a more significant share of global oil. (both have an effect, but Iran is larger)

Russia hasn't exported products in over a month now. If Diesel prices hit $6 today, it's purely because 6 months after the US president started his war on Iran, Iranian forces in Yemen have routed the Saudis and cut off the second of two SA oil export routes, damaging a vital pipeline in the process, sending crude to $100 and beyond.

Check historical prices of diesel. Diesel has been up since April 2026 when Trump launched his war against Iran regardless of what Ukraine has been doing. This is the same story with weapons, the Trump administrations blames Ukraine for their lack of Weapons to fight Iran, if you look at the weapons they are using to fight Iran, 95% of them were never given to Ukraine.
