Aptly named

I predict a massive uptick in linux switchover as soon as installation and activation of some newer ms-office versions (2019, 2021 or 2024) become possible. I think 2019 was the first that shipped with a full fledged power query.

In my experience, as of now the one that works best and seamlessly is the 20 year old office 2007.

What does "industry" mean. Which firms were involved? Were all firms involved?

constant updates

"Don't give me security updates every time there's a security issue. Instead do it occasionally because I like my vulnerabilities to be a surprise"

I think his video makes it clear how hard it is to make something made-in-america--even this product isn't. On the product front alone, people would be making a decision to spend ~5-10x something made-in-notamerica. gains from trade is a fundamental idea that has proven to be mostly beneficial to the masses. suddenly claiming self-reliance yields freedom seems very politically aligned.

Maybe one of their execs fat fingered and shared something embarrassingly.

I can't put my finger on it. Something about the recent announcement video of de-extinction of dire wolves immediately filled me with skepticism. I don't know if it was the very marketing-y video or the animations or what? But I didn't know enough to question it. This video by Hank Green does a nice summary as can be gleaned from the title. Several of Colossal's claims are questioned and his informed position explained.

Colossal has a strong history of making outlandish and inaccurate claims.

Maybe I'm not understanding what's meant by sponsorblock support? Sponsorblock works with invidious too and has worked for at least two years. There's a toggle that needs to be enabled in the addon (if I'm remembering correctly).

Built in sponsor block, not a addon. So it works on mobile

You should never double click to open a csv file in excel. You should ALWAYS import the file into excel. Set your types during import. Many of the complaints about excel's csv handling in this thread are user errors.

Not in this case. Excel makes it extra hard for you to do correctly. They encourage the wrong way.

Gdi. I had it installed for over 1 year as a backup browser. Even used it along with thorium winupdater since last few months, so probably had it updated multiple times too. Stick to Firefox folks.
