You really think that alerts in banks are that stupid? It doesn't matter if you are sending 100k at once or below some treshold. It will get alerted and spotted anyway. You just need to make transaction look plausible.

I have transferred tons of stuff to my bank over the years (all legal), none of it ever got "alerted" or something I had to describe.

Tried that but came back quickly simply due to good camera and ability to do a quick search/navigate that is a godsend sometimes. Also nobody uses SMS or Signal where I live.

Hell yeah another 20 hours of doing the same boring thing all over again. Can't wait.

Go buy a console if you want a AAA experience or just don't play it. Jesus christ the complaining about a free game that someone built for fun is unbelievable.

Matches my sentiments exactly. Yeah, DOOM is legendary. But who really plays doom for the sake of doom anymore?

I’m more interested in the umpteenth “x runs doom” post than more levels for a game most people never bother to complete in the first place.

You may have tuckered out on Doom. But to some of us, it and other boomer shooters are evergreen. Especially if there are high quality third-party levels to rip and tear through.

Confusing UI for who? Martians? It literally unites many cores under one simple control scheme. Couldn't get any easier than that.

No amount of subsidy will make me give up my car. Obviously I also use trains but having a car is just too convenient in some situations and in some places not having a car is just disability.

The ticket achieves most of its goal even if you keep your car for the more annoying edge cases but move a significant fraction of your trips from car to rail.

Time to report it to GH then.

Mine sucks in 2024. I have tried countless distros on my eeePC and it's just pain to use on any of them nowadays. It's bad even to act as a some kind of simple jukebox in my garage.

Non-stolen can be unlocked in Find My.

Headsets are big and heavy. Now imagine that some outdated (hardware-wise) popular headsets like PSVR/PSVR2 are additionally attached to a cable which makes the experience even worse especially in dynamic games. I can't imagine going back to my wired headset, I would rather not use it at all. Another thing is VR needs some free space which is not available to everyone, however wireless headsets can at least partially help with this issue (you can take it outside or move to another room and play wirelessly either streaming from your PC or natively on Quest).

Comparing Apple Watch to Mi Band makes no sense. Apple Watch is more of a microcomputer than a cheap smart band. It would be better to compare it to something like Garmin Fenix 7X that lasts you almost 40 days with 120 hours in GPS mode and does much more than a Mi Band.

Calling it a "microcomputer" is meaningless.

What is it doing? Monitoring some sensors, communicating with a phone via bluetooth, running a screen.

It's miniaturized iPhone as it can be used without phone to make calls, receive messages, stream music etc. as it has e-SIM capabilities. It runs Game Boy Color games which is pretty cool even if not very useful.
